The Staking dApp v1 has been an integral part of the Space Misfits community, providing users with a way to stake their SMCW and earn yield. However, with the launch of the new and improved Staking dApp v2, it's time to say goodbye to the old version.

What does this mean for users of dApp v1?

• The dApp v1 will be discontinued “on April, Friday 7th, 16:00 UTC”, from now on referred to as the end date.
• The Stake button will be disabled.
• Staking APR will be set to 0%. This means that it will no longer be possible to earn yield on staked SMCW.
• The SMCW that is still staked will be safe and accessible for the foreseeable future.
• Unclaimed APR up to the end date will still be claimable.
• Users are recommended to claim and unstake all funds as soon as possible, and preferably before the end date.
• Users are free to re-stake all funds in the new Staking dApp v2
